When do we play?

Our season starts on the last Sunday of March and runs to the last Sunday of September. We play every Sunday from 8:00 to 11:00 in the morning.

Any last-minute change because of the weather is coordinated in our WhatsApp group, so it is worth being in it.

In peak summer we try to sneak in evening games after work, when we have enough players for a side.

How do I reach the ground?

We play at Sportzentrum Heerenschürli in Zürich and at Glattpark in Opfikon. Each fixture names its own ground, so check the fixtures list before you set off.

We are also in conversation with the authorities about a new ground where we can play and host tournaments. We will update this page as soon as there is something to say.

How do I join the club?

Fill in the membership form — it takes about 90 seconds — and join the WhatsApp group. That is the whole process.

We are happy to see the club grow, so invite your friends and colleagues. Children are very welcome on Sundays; bring them along and they play free.

What should I bring?

A cap, sunglasses and a bottle of water. If you have your own bat, bring that too.

Everything else is the club’s — stumps, balls and spare bats are at the ground.

Do we play leather ball cricket?

On club Sundays, no — we play hard tennis ball only. It keeps the risk down as our reflexes get a year older every season, and it means anyone can turn up without pads or a helmet.

The Carnival is the exception: those matches are played with a white PVC seam ball.

Any of the numbers below. Almost all of us are working or travelling professionals, so a quick WhatsApp message is the fastest way to reach us.

A new ground We are talking to the authorities about a ground of our own, so the club can host its own tournaments rather than booking city pitches each season.
