openSUSE 15.4 Alpha Build Available to Download and Test, The openSUSE team have announced the avilability of a new development snapshot for openSUSE Leap. The new snapshot is lablled openSUSE 15.4 Alpha: Alpha releases of openSUSE Leap 15.4 are now available for download on get.opensuse.org.

The initial stable release from the openSUSE Project was SUSE Linux 10.0, released on October 6, 2005.[48] This was released as a freely downloadable ISO image and as a boxed retail package, with certain bundled software only included in the retail package.[49]

openSUSE 11.0 was released on June 19, 2008. It includes the latest version of GNOME and two versions of KDE (the older, stable 3.5.9 and the newer 4.0.4).[52][53] It comes in three freely downloadable versions: a complete installation DVD (including GNOME, KDE3, and KDE4), and two Live CDs (GNOME, and KDE4 respectively). A KDE3 Live CD was not produced due to limited resources.[53] Package management and installation were made significantly faster with ZYpp.[54]

You can also google search specific known file names for the deb packages from the local package cache and get some hits for other mirrors with other files--The web download from Google gives you an installer without a version number in the file name, but the full file name shows up in the local apt cache. Using a random file name from the local apt cache will give you better results than copying and pasting an example name from a blog or from a known mirror with a limited version history.

Searching for those packages that used to be available ondownload.opensuse.org or some other community download site?Packages in the Package Hub remain available for the life of theSUSE Linux Enterprise product. Also, every release remainsavailable, so if an update breaks something, you can easilyroll back to the previous release. 350c69d7ab
